Bearing and Small Parts Cleaning Kit

The Rock-it Clean™ Deluxe cleaning kit has all the tools needed to clean and rejuvenate your bearings as well as clean and degrease your axles, spacers and other small skate parts.

• Contains no water so won't rust bearings or parts
• Contains no petroleum-based ingredients
• Also cleans bike chains and other greasy parts.

Kit includes:

• 5.1 fl oz / 150ml of Rock-it Clean solution
• Brush tool to remove contaminants after cleaning
• Bearing shield removal tool
• Washable microfiber cloth for drying parts

Cleaning Instructions:

1) Use the supplied tool to remove bearing retaining rings (if needed).

2) Use the supplied tool to remove bearing shields.

3) Leaving strainer inside container, place items to be cleaned inside container with solution. Tighten lid.

4) Let parts soak for 30 minutes, shaking or stirring every couple minutes to ensure proper cleaning.

5) Open lid and lift strainer out of container, thus removing parts to be cleaned.

6) Empty newly cleaned parts onto towel.

7) If bearings were grease filled, inspect parts to see if there are any residual bits of grease that need to be brushed off using the supplied brush.

8) Using the supplied towel, wipe off and dry the parts.

9) It is suggested to use a can of compressed air to completely dry and blow out any remaining contaminants. Please use approved eye protection when performing this task.

10) Once parts are completely dry and clean they are ready for reassembly (if needed). If they are bearings, they will need to be lubricated before assembly (see number 11).

11) For best results apply Helo Light Speed Bearing Oil (follow instructions supplied with oil) to add lubrication to bearings.

12) Once lubricated, reassemble with shields and retaining rings as needed.
